Elite or NPL teams are the best pool of players in the particular club at that age. It's not necessarily the best coached team. There are many examples where it is just the opposite. You can definitely get a good experience via a coach of a lesser team. The downside is obviously you may not be going against the best players in training and you're playing in lower divisions in leagues and tournaments. But if your Elite coach doesn't train well, the question is which players are better off?
