Likely meant Boomer Steigelman who is a really good coach. Coached my son and now coaches on the girl side. I have seen him snd Joe combine practices and then work separately with defenders and attackers.

Stay away - "Joe" trains way to many teams 3 or 4 at this point; misrepresents what is going on with he team, pilfer's players midseason from other clubs

Have to agree with this post. He does have 3 teams right now, but manages to make it work. Each time has it's own practice twice a week. Then there are two more practices which are for all the Academy teams, 07 and up. One is optional, but the majority of players attend. The scouting zooms are real too - most weeks. He will not reach out to players - does things by the book.
The negatives you are hearing about him are from people that decided to leave.
Would he find it easier to only have 2 teams? Yes. But he is making it work, and work well

Boys side has taken a nose dive in the last few years in all of their older teams except for the 2005s. Club investing tons of money in new facilities expecting the same sort of influx of players and more importantly money when they added the first turf field, a ridiculous assumption. The club will be what it is now, very good at the younger ages because coaches and club only care about winning at all cost, play ****e soccer but win u-10 state championships, fast forward a few years all top players have left.

I agree with most of this. But I think things will improve now that JN is gone. He was arrogant, obnoxious, rude and thought way too highly of himself. He took on way too much and the teams suffered. Especially 08 and 06. Hopefully they get someone to replace both of them who actually cares about the kids (or at least pretends that they do).

That's what you get with a coach who has an insignificant soccer background. A GK at a PSU satellite campus. No experience in developing youth players. His college experience is irrelevant. At that level it's recruiting, and managing players. The development aspect is gone.

Boomer is a HORRIBLE coach. If you pay him for all the "extra" trainings, then your kid is a lock to make one of his teams. Great coach, lets scrimmage 80% of every practice three nights a week. Great coaching. Blowing off team trainings so he can run around to his money making "clinics" around the northeast where he can find some more suckers to hook. Great coach. He break any more kids arms since the summer camp?
