Upper Dublin 2012s are one of the top teams around but I don't know if they just struck gold with a core group or if the club is actually good top to bottom. The challenge they'll have, that all township teams have ultimately, is that when they move to 11v11 the best players will leave for academies. So if you're looking for longevity and/or consistency, I'd recommend just going to an academy or academy pathway right away. Ukies is a good call from the above recommendations in your area, but I don't know the 2013 age group that well. Practice with a couple of the teams listed and see if you and your kid like the coach - we have found that makes ALL the difference.

Closest top teams after that are Ukies and PA Rush. LVU and PA Classics have good teams at this age group as well, though they are not as geographically close to you. To another responders' point about getting in on ground floor, PA Rush and LVU recently launched a college pathway alliance called LVU Rush, which your daughter would be a few year's away from being able to play (it starts U13) . As you evaluate the team and club - Ukies v PA Rush for example - consider the management, stability, and drama factor. While all teams will have some, PA Rush is, by and large, a player focused, soccer loving club filled with international coaches who coach for the love of it and want to see their players develop. Can't say the same about many other local clubs.

Agreed with above. Whitpain Wave is a solid place to start and get the landscape. Ukies 2013 Girls were strong, but several are trying out for FCB on Sunday to follow their coach. What is left, will likely be a substantial drop off. At least 4 are for sure leaving
