They played over 40 games against each other. That’s a pretty good sample size. Statistically significant. Much better reality then just saying ECNL is better. Check back after Jeff Cup for more data.
Just write the check and keep quiet.

Sure. Just use the smallest sample size of scores/matches as proof of anything and you can say whatever you want and "prove" it. GA is not even with ECNL. You can sell it to yourself all you want but that isn't reality.

Wrong!! Just go look at the last PF showcase for head to head matchups of GA and ECNL teams. GA came out on top. Plus look at the U15 national team call ups. ECNL and GA couldn’t be more even. For every PDA there’s a FCV. For every PDA South there’s a Metro GA.

Guest repliedPeople have reading comprehension issues, nobody asked about the top level for girls let alone boys.
pick whichever is closer, has a better coach, and is cheaper if only high school team is the goal. Since most usys coaches are parents or volunteers that’s probably cheaper though.

Ah, no.
Boys: MLS Pro>MLSN>ECNL>All others
Girls: ECNL>GA>All the others including ECLR
Of course there's some overlap at the local level, but nationally that's how it plays out. Some MLSN clubs are terrible, same with some ECNL girls. Only some GA clubs can compete well against most ECNL clubs, the majority are pretty weak.

GA and ECNL are same level. MLS Next for boys is far superior.

ECRL is the same schedule every year. Home and away to: PDA B, PDA W, PDA S, MatchFit, PF, Delco, Hex, Bethesda, MD. All within 2hrs of Philly. USYS depends on the teams in your division- but mostly within 1.5 hrs.
I think most RLs do one showcase. USYS can do more than ECNL teams or nothing- depends if they are in the PRO league and make it to Nationals..

Guest repliedOriginally posted by Guest View PostThanks for the responses! Very helpful. How is the travel (frequency and distance) for ECRL vs USYS? We are not trying to break the bank. Our ultimate goal is high school play, not really college.
