this year Rush has taken on several Whitpain players on the boys and girls side. Its happening!

So, will LVU Rush take over the Ukies fields.....only time will tell....

That’s a big nope. Ukies are merging with VE and Horsham from the sounds of things. Email out tonight for Ukies to report to practice as normal this week and moving forward…

I know parents from that team and was told they only had 2 practices before that tournament with a bunch of new kids playing new positions, it will take time for them to improve and that should be the worse they will ever be. The Ukies are a great team and would be a rough match up for most ECNL and some MLSN teams. The bigger issue for LVU is that one of their top players has been spotted practicing with a MLS team and most mid level teams can’t afford to lose anyone, especially one of their better players.

No one should go by the first tournament of the year in which full squads aren’t even there, coaches are testing things out and new teams were just formed. I was told that 3 of the goals were penalty kicks in that Ukies game that was 5 to 1 and that it was a more competitive game than score shows. Of course that is probably a skewed look from the individuals I spoke to so can’t say for sure. Again, it’s still very early in the season, but based on this past weekends performances the LVU Rush 2011 boys squad looks like a highly competitive team and among the top teams in the state. The top 2011 teams in PA should be as follows (NOT including the four Pennsylvania MLS Next teams): Penn Fusion ECNL, Ukies ECRL, LVU Rush ECNL, FC Delco NAL, Keystone FC Premier.

Only time will tell…

My guy, I am sorry....I know you are trying your hardest. Absolutely NO ONE thinks LVU/Rush is in the same category as PF/Ukies/Delco.....NO ONE! I was as that game.....it could of been 9-1. The Ukies subbed all their starters out or else it would of been worse and Delco was literally the same thing. It was not even close....Delco should of scored 10.

Three PKs???

LVU/Rush is filled with a bunch of kids who were on 2nd and 3rd teams at the big clubs...they are gonna get smoked in ECNL.
