60-70 players at 09 girls really high level. This is happening and looks good. Also they mentioned ECNL-RL

There aren't 60-70 high level 09 girls in the entire state let alone at a Rush tryout

RICHMOND, Va. – On the heels of last week’s ECNL Regional League additions, the ECNL Girls announced the acceptance of 30 new clubs to the ECNL Regional League, as well as the formation of two new ECNL Regional Leagues for the 2023-24 season.

Acceptance into the ECNL Regional League was based on exceptional club performances this season in a number of different leagues around the country. Clubs from the NPL, E64, USYS National Leagues, and DPL earned the opportunity to play in the ECNL Regional League in 2023-2024. Beyond the great local and regional competition and college showcasing available in the ECNL Regional League, these clubs also have a potential pathway to earn promotion to the ECNL Club Competition in the future.

This fall will be the inaugural season for the ECNL Regional League – Mountain and the ECNL Regional League – Northeast. Eight clubs across Colorado and Utah will come together to form the ECNL Regional League – Mountain, while an additional 20 clubs across six states will form the ECNL Regional League – Northeast. The 2023-2024 season will feature 17 different ECNL Girls Regional Leagues nation-wide.

In addition to these new leagues, the ECNL is excited to add AFA Fillies and FC United Iowa to the ECNL Regional League – Heartland for the 2023-24 season.

Below is a full list of teams who will be added to these three ECNL Regional Leagues for the 2023-24 season.

ECNL Regional League – Heartland: AFA Fillies (St. Louis, MO); FC United Iowa (Cedar Rapids, IA)

ECNL Regional League – Mountain: Arsenal Colorado (Fort Collins, CO); Colorado EDGE Soccer Club (Arvada, CO); Colorado Rapids North (Westminster, CO); Colorado Rapids South (Aurora, CO); La Roca (South Weber, UT); Pride SC (Colorado Springs, CO); Real Colorado (Centennial, CO); Utah Avalanche (Midvale, UT)

ECNL Regional League – Northeast: Albany Alleycats (Albany, NY); Bayside FC (East Providence, RI); CFC North FC (Rockhill, CT); CFC Legacy (Stamford, CT); CT Rush Select (North Branford, CT); FC Copa Academy (Hillsborough, NJ); FC Stars Sky Blue (Acton, MA); Force FC (Monroe Woodbury, NY); Lehigh Valley United RUSH (Allentown, PA); Long Island Slammers (Stonybrook, NY); Manhattan SC (Manhattan, NY); Match Fit Academy Shore (Tinton Falls, NJ); Next Level SA (Pennington, NJ); NJ Crush (Pompton Lakes, NJ); New York Surf Soccer Club (Long Island, NY); PSA Monmouth (Tinton Falls, NJ); Quickstrike FC (New Windsor, NY); Scorpions South SC (Auburn, MA); Sporting Club Premier (Sparta, NJ); SUSA Blue (Central Islip, NY)

How do you figure? This is great for PA Rush. Enables both recruitment and retention because will be able to offer more differentiated player development opportunities. Fits their model to a tee.

Do you realize this is RL 2 league. These clubs are not mixing with current ECNL clubs. Current North Atlantic NL and RL are intact and they are players development and recruiting platform.

This new league is for financing the top one. Just check the EDP standings and scores for these clubs. They just need a bunch of kids and their delusional parents that will pay top money for below average product.

Do you realize they are not just going to reset all the divisions and incorporate the new clubs into the existing structure right. Changes like this take time to move parts around. You never know they could reforrmat and make changes like they did when they went to ECRL from NPL.

This will be the ECNL C League. LV Rush will not even play local ECNL RL clubs but be forced to play in the 20 team Northeast League. You see, every Rush parent was meant to believe that LV Rush was special and hand-selected to join ECNL-RL but in reality they are 1 of 50 clubs joining. This pathway to ECNL just got much harder now that they are competing with 20 Northeast clubs for the same prize. Only a matter of time before LV absorbs them.
