100% correct. The politically driven rush select, that has nothing to do with the best players representing the club are the only players offered LVU Rush. Joke

    • 2009 Boys LVU ECNL RL (Formerly Blue)

It won't be all new kids. It'll be almost all LVU kids and maybe a few Rush kids they can get to chase the badge all the way up to Allentown.

LVU cherry picked a few kids from the Rush team. It rattled parents who then looked for other opportunities. I know of one team who is losing 50% of their roster, but this is not entirely driven by LVU, though it did contribute. Rush thought that some players would dual roster for Rush and LVU, but im
not hearing that from parents. I’d say year one of this arrangement is to the benefit of LVU, we shall see how this impacts Rush long term.

My question would be do any Rush kids have a legit shot at making ECNL with most kids returning. Are they seriously looking to bring any in especially on the older squads. Maybe they have a shot at ECNL RL squads.

    Rush Select...another ****ing joke

Spot on, no one is rostering on Rush if they received an ECNL spot. Further, what soccer club/coach is organized enough to actually coordinate game schedules for dual roster players?

LVU is also inviting Rush kids to try out for the ECRL (formerly Blue). The consensus is tryouts were a sham. In one case LVU rostered two Rush players before tryouts even occurred.

Rush have away the Academy team. In many cases those not selected for LVU (essentially the Rush Select kids) left for other clubs.

You mean all Rush players and some LVU players are not ECNL so they can get an offer at any point. That’s been communicated to pretty much no one.
