We are currently with Westmont and are being sold a sack of lies about E64 -- its unfortunate for the team that will be U18/U19 next year -- participation in that league makes zero sense!!! We couldn't even get accepted into Jeff Cup this year and now they want us to be on board with traveling 2-5 hours for games!

can't play E64 if you don't have a team. have a consolidated effort with other teammates to tryout elsewhere. at U18/19 why bother travelling, either you are commited or you're not as a senior. Juniors may have a different mentality

The teams Stef May were given were developed by other coaches. Resume? Did you ever wonder why she has bounced around so much. What West-Mont discovered is that the truth reveals itself during practices, games and meetings. Horrible communicator, spoke terrible to parents, would ostracize particular kids, etc. The two teams she coached were REVOLTING and THREATENING to leave en masse due to her. Who would want a leader and coach like that?

As far them being just an average local club and no teams in top 15. You are obviously talking out your butt. Last year West-Mont had two State Finalist. This years NCS Cup results to date. Girls, U19 are in the final. U17 semifinal and two others quarters. Boys U19, U17, U16 are all in the upcoming semi-finals. Two others quarter finalist.

The club purged dirt bag leaders and coaches like Josh Brown, Aron Paprocki, Tim Raub, etc etc etc. Tim Raub is actively destroying two age groups by recruiting and THREATENING players. Threatening player that if they don't leave with him he will not play them in high school, nor recruit for them etc. He's the local high school coach and he threatens players often. The real question is why is he still employed? And why does EPYSA do nothing to stop these individuals from staying in soccer and doing what they do. When is that going to change?

Wow …you must be one of the Tim Raub haters …either because your kid didn’t make his club team …or can’t make the HS Varsity team he coaches ….he didn’t destroy two age groups …WM did that on their own by choosing the path of E64 and removing coaches. WM only gives a hoot about the girls programs now because they are the only ones who are in E64 …boys side didn’t make the cut ….normally WM doesn’t put any effort into the girls side of the club….

First let’s starts with ECNL, ECRL and MLS next teams don’t play in the state cups so even with all those teams out the running some of them still elected to play second
tier of the state cup haha.

All the younger teams are go have to play against the top teams before they go to the ECNL or MLS next got no where.

there’s not a west mont team who are even in the top 15 of Pennsylvania east let’s not kid ourselves on.

Word is that he is being investigated for recruiting, and he absolutely threatens girls if they don't do what he says. It's a well known fact that a group of parents have gone to SF with facts (things in writing from him) to get rid of him due to his continual unethical behavior and mistreatment of certain kids. 2nd, from a reliable source, he quit his job at West-Mont after not succeeding at trying to stop the club from joining E64. And then came begging for his job back. He was told no. West-Mont was offered ECRL, which is nothing more then a 2nd tier league and no better then what they have now. Again you are ignorant of the system if you think playing ECRL is a good thing. ECRL is a waste of money. As far as ranking in PA East ...a simple search of Eastern PA proves you are again clueless and talking crap. U19 boys are ranked 13th and U17 boys are ranked 4th.

USYS is an organization, not a league. USYS includes NL-PRO, E64, EDP.
ECNL includes ECRL.
GA is just GA.

USYS is huge, there are some very good teams that could easily play in ECNL or GA. There are also many more teams that are lower level. The three major systems overlap in terms of level. But the highest concentration of strong teams are in ECNL.

ECRL is "reserve" by its own title. The R means reserve. Many West-Mont teams play and beat ECNL teams often. There is nothing to be gained by accepting and playing in ECRL. Other then the league pockets money. Playing in ECRL does not gain you entry into or up to ECNL, it gets you nothing. Ummm....the "R" is not reserve. It's REGIONAL as distinct from NATIONAL. The difference is intended to primarily in the degree of travel involved in playing. ECNL teams are potentially travelling across state lines routinely to play. ECNL-RL is intended to be limited to a 1-2 hour distance. All are intended to be higher level than USYS, and to involve a concentration of showcase college coach attention at the older age levels, which is why ECNL is thought to be the premier girls college pathway.

who is this person… you are ridiculous! Reserve stands for Regional and many of those teams would beat WMU teams so stop talking out your back side.

PF ecrl team would beat wmu (easily!) have fun driving all the way to boston bolts to play their 4th team. Oh wait they withdrew because the standard was poor for a 4th team!
