Is high school soccer good for college scholarships

No. It really doesn’t matter. College seasons run the same time as high school seasons so college coaches rarely make these games. Also, college coaches know that high school soccer is full of politics and unqualified coaches, so they put little stock in high school. Unless you are a powerhouse program that consistently generates talent.

If college is your goal, focus on club soccer and showcases. The talent and competition is usually better.

Virtually no recruiting happens from HS . It's almost entirely via club soccer, and even then higher level leagues. Very few college players weren't in the club system, maybe a few freakishly good multisport athletes playing lower college programs

As for scholarships? Don't expect a penny. Even if your kids gets recruited the odds of significant $ are very low, even more so for boys. Have them focus on getting good grades and test scores. There's way more $ in merit scholarships.
