Newbie: For U11 girl, what's the difference between LMSC, FC Europa or FC Delco?

As far as I can tell, Delco is more expensive. But what are the other pros/cons. For reference, daughter has been playing for about 2 years and has recently kicked into higher gear. She loves soccer and is competitive with herself, but not on the field yet. Where do we put our energy in terms of training? Thx

They all cost about the same, Delco is all inclusive the others charge you team fees. What it boils down to is if she plays other sports. If not, go to Delco. If she does go to LMSC or Europa. Delco expects you to make every practice 3 x per week. The other two are way more lenient and they are forming a partnership in 2023 so it will essentially be the same club.

Delco has yet to produce a team above .500 in ECNL and many at bottom of league standings. Very little development. They end and up having to use the ECNL badge to attract players in middle/HS years just to only end up with teams near bottom.

So, for a player who is ready for a higher level of play but is not uber-competitive... I wonder if we should go with the local travel team for a few years and wait till she is hungry for more competition? If we go into Delco now, will it still be fun? She loves the game - not looking to lose the fun just yet.

If your daughter has only been playing for two years, then find a good township coach and program. Spend the extra money on outside skills training. Then in 2-3 years go practice with PF, Delco, Ukies and see if your daughter stands out and enjoys the higher level playing.
