LMSC and Europa partnership

As an LMSC girl parent I’ll be interested to see how they combine the boys to get an idea for the girls for next year

Based on their websites it looks like both will still field seperate teams in each age group. Tryouts are at different times. For example. Europa 06s will have two teams and so will LMSC. Europe tryouts are about a week earlier.

That top 07 Europa team is very good though. What going to happen to both LMSC and Europa's teams? Europa has three teams in most age groups and LMSC has at least two. Are they keeping them or cut team?

They will never cut teams bc that means less revenue. In general about 50% of EFC first team kids and 50% of LMSC kids will combine to form a stronger first team. The kids who are cut might be insulted and leave. But all the other kids from all the second and third teams won't care.
Europa got consistently destroyed by the 2007 1776 team (now VSA). They are just following suit. Collecting kids from 4 towns rather than 2. Basic math.

Not sure what the name will be. So the 07 girls (two very good teams in their own right) have merged this year rather than waiting for next year. Merged might be the wrong term but the top 5 Europa girls went over to LMSC. They'll play under the LMSC name and coach- should be a very strong team but who will they play?.. PSC 07 are folding, Real going to GA, who is left in EDP?

EDP is going to become a borderline rec league now that Real jumped ship to GA.

How nice would it be for all the leagues to combine and make one league so that every game is within 1.5 hours. And games are competitive.
But everyone wants a piece of the pie, and that is the problem.

problem is everyone is so hot for a badge or letter title for their kid, but your kid actually developed with someone else not the badge and half time that badge or letter title doesn’t develop your kid anymore then when they walked on. You forget the coaches that actually help get your kid to where they are. Everyone is counting minutes their kid plays on the field it becomes a I game not an actual team game. Can you kid actually play like a team or is it all for them and their parents that yell on the side line “I want a goal”

get a grip people they are kids half of them won’t play past high school and if they play in college that’s icing on the cake

Yawn. Let’s not choose this forum to get all philosophical. Rather talk about these 07 rankings. Way more interesting.

Those 07 rankings look pretty accurate to me. Keystone Ath gave PF a whooping back in Feb. They play LM in the State Cup final this weekend and Delco at the Players Cup Memorial Weekend- they should win both.
I'd like to see them play the Ukies. Those appear the top 2 teams for this age.
