To paraphrase what I wrote in the other thread about Marist women's soccer, this is only the HC's second season with the team.. There was no Fall 2020 season and the team only completed one official contest during the Spring 2021 season. Then, during the Fall 2021 season, their season ended at the same place that it always does - losing in the 1st round of the MAAC play-offs, so it's not like the program has gone backwards since she took over. A competent AD and Administration know that it takes time for a new HC and her staff to change the culture in a program and that they need to be given an opportunity to see whether they can surpass the level that the previous coaches achieved and they need to be provided with more than two seasons to demonstrate that.

"The Red Foxes secure their first win of the season!"
There's going to be at least one extremely upset parent of a benchwarmer.

No, it doesn't seem like that at all. In fact it's the opposite. The team has played four games and there are 10 players who have started all four games for the Red Foxes. Of those ten players, five of the players, including the GK, have played every minute, and three others have played well over 310+ minutes of the 360 minutes that the team has played.
Stop thinking that you're helping your overrated and underperforming daughter by continually trying to undermine the HC. Tell her to put her head down and do the work to get better.

Perhaps the work is getting done and the coach isnt honoring her statements. Perhaps some starters are getting schooled in scrimmages and the coach just refuses to adjust. Perhaps some parents are making contributions to the program and the school. The line up is not based on merit. And the online stats just dont match what happens in the game.
So glad my kid didn’t pick Marist!!!!
Have fun suckers!

How is that Marist does a Nationwide sesrch and winds up with a local coach? Marist is basically good local HS soccer.
