That hit the nail on its head. The vast majority of MLS Next clubs are already mediocre at best. Some aren't even as good as run of the mill neighborhood teams On top of that, they have rosters of 18-21 players such that many players either don't play at all on any given day or only play 30 minutes. If kids think that playing 30 minutes a game is any way to build stamina necessary to play at a higher level, they will be solely mistaken.

MLS Pro does not equal most of the pay to play clubs. There's the A level, then a good 2/3 of the rest are B level. And B level is fine for what it is, but don't put FCW or Beachside in the same category as NYCFC or Red Bulls.
