Exactly and sometimes families hear what they want to hear. At the higher levels there are no guarantees - although all players should be given meaningful minutes that does not mean equal minutes or starts. If your player is unlikely to be a consistent start for first off the bench then a different team might be a better fit. Especially if playing less will damage their confidence or the parents will be whining all the time about PT.

You can say whatever you want. My D’s team played them when old coach was around and since he has taken over the team it’s been a much better team. I see the difference in their play.

Agree. If you are on this site at this age you know about all the other clubs and teams.
as for this team - my kid played them (pipeline) won 3-0.
we were surprised they weren’t stronger as they had won/ tied in past. Not sure if the recent game included these new players or not, either way they didn’t show well.
