Lots of snark on here. It's ok to be proud of your kids, and of course their results this season matter to you. But honestly in the world of youth soccer this is just the beginning and small potatoes. The responses you are getting are just because it doesn't really matter to anyone else, and those of us who have been in your shoes in years past know how fast things change with teams and individual players. So it is easy to poke fun. Just chill and enjoy the ride. The sooner you can do this, the better for your mental health and your kids enjoyment, i promise you!

I remember when my kid was playing as a U-8. Other kid's father was a real jerk, acting like his kid would be the next Messi because he had started "training" the kid at age four. The kid was markedly better than every other kid as a U-8. By the time he was a U-12 he was mediocre and by U-14 quit soccer in large part because he was not all that good. So people need to contain themselves. Tournaments at such a young age mean virtually nothing when it comes to correlation with later soccer ability.

CSA Lacey 2013G Green is arguably the best 2013’s girls team in NJ along with PDA 2013G Stars Blue. DKSC is a very strong team go look at their games playing the best in their region, playing against boys, and even playing a year up. A bit surprised that CSA Lacey didn’t win FC Dallas

How did they get Shellacked? Just curious? Semi finals at supercopa, in the supercopa bracket? Do you think your daughters team can compete there? If so why weren’t they there. Your daughter is probably a rec player playing on a rec team. Stop worrying about the teams that are competitive and worry about getting your kid and her team better training. How is that for your dumb ass rec soccer mom/dad!!!!! I applaud all the teams that competed at supercopa. Job well done…….

All girls teams are rec teams. Even if your girl makes it "pro" she'll be earning nickels and dimes.

Are 1-4 and 1-6 close losses? Adults should be able to admit kids have bad games and it is what it is. Maybe focus on improving instead of talking about how great they are already. Isn't that what youth soccer is really about?

Giving up lots of goals and not scoring any is getting shellacked. My kid is driving so no she isn't competing with little kids at a glorified parent tournament.

I am not the one who cut out what was actually posted. That was Mr. or Mrs. Creativity who created something out of nothing and mind reading is quite an accomplishment if only it were possible.
