PDA Memorial Day - Accepted Teams?

The list of teams is mostly RL teams, plus some actually good teams from Mass. Is there another tournament Memorial Day weekend besides the PDA Girls College Showcase? Or is the list just wrong?

Hustled those none ECNL teams into going to a completely different tournament. What colleges are showing up to the PDA Girls College Showcase when PDA is also hosting ECNL NJ the same weekend? LOL, PDA just trolled every club that signed up...

Not really. I’ve been to the tournament and the colleges get out to many of the non ECNL games. Money maker for PDA for sure however it has proven to be valuable for all those involved.

Nothing new, they have this every year and the coaches always go see the non-ECNL teams at those locations, based on matchups. This is actually a pretty big solid, since the ECNL NJ event would monopolize the coaches attendance so PDA hosting the GA, USYS & RL teams is pretty good for them.

Folks been there done this. Colleges attend quality team matchups regardless of league affiliation. Match ups and talent level matter. Good programs are watching the better teams. Lesser programs are not wasting their time looking at kids who would never consider them. As a result you would be surprised by the teams who are being watched. It’s the who’s watching that differs.

While the location may be mostly between 15-30mins away anyone who has ever gone to an event at either PDA fields knows traffic and parking suck. Coaches attending the ECNL event not listed on the non-ECNL coaches list may pop in but don't count on it. The ones who do are going to look at specific players already on their radars.
