Does the GK want to play in college? Because given their year the window is almost closed for exposure. They'll have to do a bunch of ID events this summer. Senior year you can play anywhere. If not wanting to play in college, then play anywhere you want for fun.
I'm assuming they are leaving their current team over lack of PT or possibly even 3 GKs on the roster. Well, if they want to play in college this is the reality for GKs. In college there's almost always the starting GK and at least 2 others secretly hoping the starter gets injured. Some programs have 4 wvwn 5 GKs. Many will never play at all and drop out or transfer. It's very difficult to get recruited as well. Most teams are only looking for one GK for that class and you're competing against 15-20 others for that spot. Field players have better odds with 6-9 open spots.
