Not a Penn Fusion parent but a knowledgeable ECNL parent here. Penn Fusion is a top 20 girls club in the county and that is a fact, not even debatable.

Penn Fusion was ranked #47 girls club in the country by soccerwire. So, clearly, your statement is not fact and is debatable.

Yes I guess we can also debate if Alabama is not a top 3 football program because they did not make it to the playoff this year. Soccerwire’s club rankings change 3-4 times a year. This latest ranking have Tophat and Nationals at #2 and #3 which is a little inflated and then Penn Fusion #47. PDA and SDS are also #6 and #5. Top 3 girls clubs in the country over last 5 years are Solar, SDS and PDA in that order.

Isn’t the idea that the rankings change based on the club’s current play? PDA has fallen off. Their 2010s, for instance, are in 5th place. And even if there’s fluctuation, 47 is a far cry from under 20.

Typical ECNL bias….if CSA was in they would be better than PF and would give PDA a battle in some ages too

What age would give PDA a battle?

                    2011's - Nope
2010's - Yes, but PF to top of the class amongst the three
                    2009'a - No chance
                    2008's - No
2007's - A fighting chance against PF only
                    2006's - No chance

CSA can't beat bad GA teams and you have them in the ECNL finals.

05 and 07 are pretty solid

CSA has the facilities to be in ECNL. If ECNL was smart they would allow CSA in and take advantage of that for regional showcases.

That’s one important part of the criteria. CSA also have top coaches and some great teams so ECNL should be begging. Only time will tell.

How many full size fields does CSA have? I dove by the other day i saw 3 plus a bubble. Are there any more in a different location?
