PDA is a wonderful club and I know lots of kids who play there. My kids play at MFA because it’s close and they love it there.

Stop being an academic snob. You have absolutely no idea about the academic qualifications of any of these players, what their desired majors are (some schools are specialists in certain subjects, not others) or what kind of financial circumstances each family has (because some simply can't go to college without big $, merit or athletic). If each player is happy with their final outcome then that is what should be celebrated.

There are maybe 3 or 4 schools there that I would be "gushing with pride" if my non soccer kids got into, but I guess my family has different standards. You hear those stories were kids have offers from Rutgers and Columbia, and pick Rutgers because of soccer. I went to Rutgers because I couldn't get into Columbia, but it's America, people can choose what they want

I love the posters calling people "degree snobs". I guess the quality of teachers, buildings and fellow students does NOT matter, but of course the quality of trainers, fields, and teammates matter when you choose a club. "Club snobs" think "degree snobs" are bad people. Of course we all know what matters more in REAL LIFE

Your standards should be ones that allow your children to explore, take risks, seek their own happiness (not yours). If your child is one of the lucky ones, and it ultimately comes down to luck getting into an Ivy or equivalent for those students that qualify academically, then that’s wonderful for them (not you). Oh and there’s that debt thing too.

Not impressive. I may not care about “individual choices” but with a large number of commits we should expect access to very selective schools (athletically or academically). How do you really differentiate between PDA and MFA when the commits are pretty much an equivalent.

I bet PDA made up some of these names. It's a shame PDA has to lie about this when awesome clubs like MF and PSA don't need to lie. Once again proving PDA is the worst club in NJ and the absolute worst place to stick your kid if she has any hopes of getting a scholarship. **** you PDA.
