The above statement is true. In addition he talks about the supporting players to other players on the team which creates a toxic environment.

JT is just toxic! Not a bad trainer, but as a coach he shouldn't be coaching! Most of those 08 parents are toxic too! Kids aren't any better.

Can you elaborate? Was considering this team but had only heard positive things up till now. Not interested in toxic parents or coaches!

JT doesn't find girls with ID clinics or open practices. He prides himself on knowing every good player in the area. So if he hasn't contacted you about coming out chances are he won't roster your kid unless their is some other worldly reason he would want to. Honestly though, it is what it is, going into HS if your kid is a starter or getting 60% plus playing time on PDA South, Real or any other ECNL, ECRL, GA or USYS Div 1 team then you really aren't going to bump her stock up much for college as she will most likely (as in 99% sure) going to come off the bench as a supporting player. The training that SJEB is known for is done during the 7v7 and 9v9 ages so you would be better off just paying for a good trainer and staying put. If your kid is really talented look to PF, PDA North or FC Delco.
This team is a powder keg waiting to blow and will end up like the older aged teams. They'll get D1 commits but nothing you can't get from just about anywhere else. Keep expectations real with St Joe, Wilmington, JMU or any college in NJ not being D1 Rutgers.

To be fair, if you come to this board looking for advice, it's always going to be negative, slanted, biased, etc. Go to the training and talk to people while thee.

Look at the EDP 1st team, Rush Select and GA ID lists and you'll see a group of girls on all 3. They are the golden kids and no matter how they do during a game or how many practices they miss they can do no wrong. Not saying they aren't good just that the talent on that team is really close from top to bottom but only those girls will ever be selected for anything. Issue is though that a chunk can only play 1 position and will only play that position. He favors hyper aggressiveness over actual skill. So if your kid does 40 pull backs while attacking the net and shots 30 times a game to score a single goal she'll be fine. JT has allowed the captains and their group to openly ridicule team members and basically bully them. Some of the parents aren't much better as you have some that have complained about playing time and gotten better players pushed to the bench because they pay for drinks and golf outings. Like everything else though they do have some good kids and nice parents though they don't always come as a package.

Meh, have not seen any of this to be honest.
Also, if your kid is talented and can produce...that is the only way any of these kids are useful to any coach

Those 08 and 09 teams have many girls who are talented but aren't given as much consideration and are used to support his favorites. Are good coach would allow every player to work toward their full potential and give opportunities to every player deserving. Instead he allows players to skip practices and still be the main focus. Club soccer is a business but some coaches doesn't understand that this is a service or serve us industry. Crap on enough players and soon you won't be left with a team.
