Stop payment, call your bank. Then let them try and fight you - which they won't. Next time - DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU SEE THE TEAMSNAP Roster.

First of all, the payments are all collected. Secondly, how do I do what you suggested? "DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU SEE THE TEAMSNAP Roster." They just keep recruiting.

Like some had said though, the most effective way is making sure the roster size has an upper limit and it is part of the contract.

Yup. Put it in writing. If they won't agree to it that tells you all you need to know and you should walk away.

lol they cashed your $ a long time ago and you won't ever get that back. If you still have a payment left at this point in the year (most require you to be paid up by now), walk away. You are right that clubs won't go after you as it's not a good look.

Any players appearing on both rosters?

              That is against ECNL rules.

Unfortunately that doesn't hold enough weight - we did that and they still lied and took the money.

How do you think these guys are making a living off soccer? It’s certainly not 18 player rosters. The conversation is pointless. These guys come from overseas to make a living in a sport they supposedly love and the only way to do that is to exploit your bank accounts. Good luck changing Soccer in the US.

Yes you are right. Glad you can admit it is only about money.

Actually it's not. Having players on both ECNL and ECRL rosters was part of the point of creating ECRL; to make it easier for players at the same club on each of these teams to move between teams as needed. It's only against ECNL rules if the 2nd team is not an ECRL team and plays in a different league.

Take them to small claims court. Complaining gets you nowhere
