In a failing athletics program these soccer scholarships are scarce. You bet on low level PDA blue and keep losing is not solution to win.

Murphy won’t cover their $200+ Million debt with these results.

What you parents do not understand (or want to acknowledge) is that RU Soccer has been the story all season. There success has placed the college and the soccer team in the media. RU women’s team has been in the soccer headlines all season. That publicity is priceless.

They sure have. RU soccer got to the top as far as they could go. Participating in College Cup is admirable.

But my kid intentionally plays in a different state. And played club out of state too. I can choose my teams to support. You get that right?
Good for your kid. When they make the final 4 We’ll root for them

...as far as they could go, again.

The unseeded BYU team took FSU to pk's. A pk away from lifting the cup. Brutal.

Yet they won. That’s what elites do. Win. A month from now most people won’t even remember who was in the cup let alone the winner.

On the RU side of things no one has brought this up. Is the roster composition reflective of Oneils inability to recruit?

It has been brought up, but its called hating so you might want to rethink anything short of congratulating RU on a historic season.

NH lost his charm to deceive parents, players and recruit for MO’s RU factory.

Some may argue that Rutgers doesn’t even get the “best” pda talent. Their are multiple girls every year that head down south to play in college, in supposed elite programs and conferences.

Approximately 15 kids are from all branches of PDA.
North, South, Shore. Other clubs represented are World Class, CSA,Stallions,Penn Fusion. One English kid who trained with Chelsea. Yes many of the cream top tier kids go south.
Many of the top RU kids have family connections to the school.
Legacies they want to follow family who are Alum

That is very true and why PDA cannot just rely on recruiting in NJ. When given the opportunity RU cannot compete with most P5 conference recruits who would rather leave home and the NE. They would rather go to another warm weather State with grass fields. Where the sports facilities are first rate. If RU had no budget restraints no doubt they would look towards more top international players. Unfortunately, RU is not a first choice destiny because of its location in NJ. Most pick it for personal reasons of being close to home and financial reasons especially if your a State resident.
