I'd argue the training is more important than the team/league quality (up tp a point...don't play on a total crap team and it's the better clubs that put an effort into GK training). Like a poster said above as a GK you want to be challenged. If you have a top notch defense protecting you that isn't going to happen as often. It's also why high school is s great testing ground (assuming you're teh starting GK because in high school there is rarely a rotation. Best GK starts and stays in the whole game unless there's a comfortable lead. Get used to that idea).

Most 03s graduated last year. Any that aren't planning on playing in college usually drop out senior year

Soccer aside, this thread is everything that is wrong with humanity. It is unfortunate that the ugliness has taken over kids sports. Grown people willing to cut each other down inn the name of their kids. Its not about the kids. It's your own flex. Truly despicable people. I feel very bad for your kids.

Goalies getting away with hard fouls this year with little resistance from refs. Shouldn’t all the players get protection? Not just goalies. Haven’t seen any GKs carded and some are dirty fouls
