This org should be ashamed. They kicked out a first place Rec team heading into playoffs and refuse to tell why or allow the team to fix what happened or have an adult conversation. IT IS REC SOCCER. The VP of the DSC then emailed the entire club saying he didn’t do it himself (he did) and guess what else. By doing it his 5th place team now gets a playoff spot. Way to make the playoffs meaningless for everyone but your team. I heard he did things last year like force rec teams to forfeit if they didn’t have enough players instead of just letting them borrow kids from another rec team. Other towns complain but there is no group in charge. Just him. It’s so so sad for these kids who just play for fun. Our town had many good years in this league but the current “leadership” has made it time to move on. Any other coed rec leagues for teens? Just want to have fun not be so serious about rec championships and disqualified teams to benefit your own etc

Chester Soccer sent out an email basically saying yes they were done dirty but they’re going to allow DSC to essentially kick their CHILDREN out of rec soccer and to stop talking about it on social media.
1. why don’t you ask the parents if they want to continue to participate in the league instead of telling them? Do you understand that this affects OUR KIDS who had this taken away from them? Stand up for your community instead of letting Derry’s VP bully you. It’s a bad look for Chester that you care more about pacifying this lunatic than defending your own players.
2. Not my first rodeo in rec soccer but first time in years Derry has decided to be such bad partners. This new guy they put in charge isn’t capable. Win at all costs mentality. Interesting that he coaches a younger team that destroys opponents weekly but that isn’t bad sportsmanship. Guess it depends what side of the problem you’re on.
3. Chester-i implore you to get together with other towns and demand this person no longer be in charge if you’re going to participate. Otherwise all of you can leave and big bad derry can scrimmage themselves weekly.
disgusted that we are allowing derry to do thsi and we’re being scolded for talking about it.
