SSS will field Impact teams but they are also joining GA Rising. So Impact will either be the third tier players or they'll just have the GA R team play in both leagues....

like Scorpions, Select has gotten an influx of players at tryouts from Bolts South and Juve etc now that they have GA and GA rising. Bolts is going to be next club to lose the girls side.

Impact is dying. Not sure if it’s DOA. If it is, well, what happens to Select impact teams? Sure the top Skyblue team was offered GA rising, but what about those who only have impact offers? They are now NECSL teams? Bummer.

Unclear whether you are a real parent. But there’s every reason to rely on Select getting this sorted out. They always do.
They can’t know the answers to every such question right now, while tryouts and player decisions are still underway. The league changes also slow things down.
If a player expects to be on an Impact team, she will be on an Impact team or the equivalent.
The tough part IMO isn’t the league question, it is not knowing the coach and the players on the team.
Talking to other parents always helps. Try to talk to the club or coach.

Are you serious? It will all get sorted out? Write a check for over $3,600 and just throw it to fate? To sign a contract you should know team, league, coach and players. The league by the way is very important to know. Who pays $3,600 to be in NECSL? And like any club there are good coaches and bad. Coaches who show up and coaches who don’t. I want to know what I’m paying for. Ask the coach??? Like we haven’t? Vague replies if any.

There still hasn’t been any official announcement from GA about GA rising. Willing to bet GA Rising is not going to ever come to fruition.

GA Rising was officially announced May 15. Below is a link to the GA Twitter account, the images list the North and South Division clubs.
https://twitter.com/gacademyleague/s...85480263876608
It’s also on club websites, and clubs are signing contracts with players for GA Rising teams. Which is easy to do, as they are existing teams that will practice in the same locations, with the same coaches, with similar travel (mostly in eastern New England). Families are understandably very positive. Those that were wondering about trying other club options are staying put because of GA Rising. Players thinking about joining can meet the coach and players and see the team’s performance in past games.
There is a rumor that NEFC will also have a team in GA Rising. If true, that would make 3 local clubs with teams better than the MA teams in the current ECNL RL New England league.
Speaking of leagues that can’t get off the ground - Where’s the official list of clubs that will be in the new ECNL RL Northeast North Division? Oh right, there isn’t one. It’s just something that might happen, and the best case scenario is there is a North Division, made up of clubs to be named later in NY, NJ, NH, MA, RI, and CT.
