    2 things:

    1. sarcasm at its best. I just checked on Washington and Galaxy and both clubs are in the Empire United and Syracuse range of terribleness. At least now those 2 clubs wont be considered the worst teams in GA anymore.

    2. never ever compare NEFC to Tophat. 1 club is the top GA club and the other is an ok club in GA.

This is not sarcasm. It is a welcome message to our new sister clubs!

GA's motto: HAVE MONEY WILL TAKE YOU!

to make you understand just how bad Washington and Galaxy are they are a combined -113 club wide in goal differential. How is that even possible, yet they get into GA??? HAVE MONEY WILL TAKE YOU!

GA is adding clubs for depth and travel ease. Nobody is saying these clubs will walk into top position in their region or the league but they have a chance to compete and level up. Offering another league might be appealing to a family driving hours for an ECNL badge. ECNL adds clubs from their regional teams, is that really better. Or is it better to have clubs like Stars have two mediocre teams in a division? Adding clubs is the right thing to do, whether the grow and develop into anything is up to the organization.

You can't expect a team which is currently not in ECNL/GA to be that caliber when they first join. The idea is that by joining the league they will be able to recruit better players and get better over time (years). Expansion is a good thing. Underperforming teams are also dropping out of GA (see Metro ASA in mid Atlantic which is out for next year)

Keystone is a pretty decent club. My kids ECNL team played them a couple years back at a tournament (I think 07s as U14) and they were pretty decent.

Scratching my head trying to understand why anyone in MA, who obviously isn't in the league referenced here, would care about a team being added from other parts of the country. The only thing I can think of is the poster is an overly obsessed condescending turd.

                    Any other ideas?

Will the Sporting Nebraska v. South Shore Select “bronze showcase bracket C” be broadcast, or is that only reserved for NEFC Champions League matches?

Yep, definitely going with overly obsessed condescending turd.

Makes his own crap team look better by trashing others. Lazy, small-minded thinking at it's best.

So, how do these 4th rate clubs improve then over the next two years while they bring down the level of the league? Every top player in ECNL wants to go to a 4th rate, struggling new GA team that would get demolished in first division EDP ... Its all about money, not development or quality. GTFOH, dummy!

How do you think they're going to improve? Where's the talent coming from? Players that wanted the league and are good enough are already in it. Some won't want the added travel expenses and drop out. There's only so much talent to go around in any geographic location. More teams = thinner rosters. And how will they improve the coaching? Presumedy some if not most coaches need more skills plus recruiting connections to help players, no?

As a reminder, FSA bought the Soccer Plus badge several years ago and actually made it WORSE than what they replaced.
