Mass city is good at having a lot of teams which then creates some quality players but when they usually reach a point they tend of leave for bolts.

Agree, Bolts ECRL. Does the Seacoast MA team play out of Weymouth? They’re competitive. I thought Surf was in Newton.

So we reached out to the coaches of the 06 and 09 team for both kids. Both teams seem to be good teams but don’t know anything about the coaches. Anyone have any information on the bolts ECRL coaches. Do they just get results or actually develop players

I honestly don't know the answer to either of those questions at this point. We had a good experience with the Bolts.[/QUOTE]

We had a terrible experience at Mass City. RT is a raving lunatic, constantly yelling and degrading little kids. He has to be 1 of the most hated coaches in Massachusetts, What an absolute dink! Him yelling at our son who is actually a decent player non stop everytime was ridiculous. Not 1 good thing to say about him or his teammates all year. You Mass city parents with the unfortunate luck to have RT coach your son know exactly what I am talking about. Left 2/3 into the season and have never looked back.

Bolts and Seacoast are the 2 best options. Bolts have a better pathway. Top Seacoast teams are very strong, bottom tier not so much. Bolts are much more expensive!

For what it's worth, if you are on the south shore, take a look at Seacoast, especially if you have an 09. Their 09 team is very solid, definitely better than the bolts ECNL/ECRL teams but below the Bolts MLS Next team. The '09 coach for Seacoast is great.

seacoast ok at the older age groups, struggle at the younger age groups. Stay away from Mass City. they have 16 year old kids with no experience coaching most of their teams. Bolts or Liverpool is the way to go

Does Liverpool have any competitive teams? Bolts and Seacoast are miles ahead of them.
