Are DE soccer players bad because the clubs suck or do the clubs suck because the players are so bad?

The good ones are playing in PA.

Yes, top DE players would go to Penn Fusion or FC Delco. Sporting DE is spending a lot of money but hasn't had much success building things up yet. If your daughter is really good, she's at PF and if it's a son, he's at Delco. Just not enough top level players to field strong DE teams.

Also, on girls side you need at least one club in Wilmington area in ECNL to have any chance to compete against PF. On boys side will be even harder considering top players will end at Union Academy (moving from Wayne, PA to Chester, PA next year)
