Happens all the time with both parties, police and DAs across the country. It isn't ideal and people should be held accountable but it will always be there. Sometimes a little bend in the rules is needed to get what is needed for justice.

Voters also aren't interested in this right now- they're worried about their kids going back to school or if grandma's medication shows up in the mail. If Trump hoped it would distract them he failed
