Thanks ginga dad. Number one it is edp relax. Number 2 they didn't make the national champ game. They made the EDP national Tournament. And they did not advance from pool play. And the tough Cincinatti team didnt advance to the knock out round either.
But the 2007 ginga girls are solid. Basically the only team ginga has.

There are a few local EDP teams that play nationally. Ginga 2007, Rush Elite 2006, Yankee 2006 etc...They actually may travel just as much as Gal teams and get plenty of exposure. The National level EDP is very solid. It is definitely as good as Gal and usually as good as the lower half of ECNL. Those national EDP teams do compete with GAL and ECNL teams all the time at tourneys. So I would say to really be competitive in EDP it is on a team by team basis not really a club by club basis. You need to find a top team for that one particular year. The upper half of ECNL like the Champions league teams are clearly a step up. They usually have a few superstars that are hard to deal with and more depth. The top half of ECNL is obviously where girls looking to play in college want to be. You need to look more team by team if you aren't on one of those upper ecnl teams. And if you are EDP and you want exposure you need to play these teams and top GA teams in tourneys. These teams always have dozens of coaches following them. If your team is only playing regional EDP "showcases" they are wasting your time and money. Despite the "college coach list" no coaches will be watching your games at those events. Go play the upper brackets of Jeff Cup or the upper bracket of a SUSA event and you will see the difference in actual coaches on the sidelines and realize the rest of the "showcases" are basically scams..
And on a side note. The idea that ecnl or GA teams wont play EDP teams is also not true. My daughters EDP team plays CFC ecnl, FSA ecnl, and Oakwood GA in friendlies every season. They have always been receptive to games.

And also if you are on a high school level club team that is just playing local leagues and local pretend "showcases" you will see the team falls apart more and more very year. And by junior year in hs you will wonder where everyone went. Same cycle has been happening for many years. You need to be on a team that is travelling and playing upper tier comp. Those teams will pick up talent every year. Not lose talent.

CFC had 3 teams make the Champions League U14,15&16 and their 18’s finished in the top 3 of the NE Conference.

Not sure how anyone can make that comment. Yankee and CT Rush elite 2006 are in the same NE conference and the same EDP national pro league and both played State Cup. They played each other 3 times this year. Yankee went 2-0-1 against rush and won the NE conference and state cup which both were in. CFC encl is clearly the best 2006 team in the state, Yankee is likely the second best 2006 team in the state and that is not all that hard to justify since they played every team in the top five. CT rush is still solid but has lost some top players to the other teams the past few years. Oakwood 2006 is still good as well but not as good as they were a few years ago. FSA ecnl 2006 is def behind those other 4.
