While the FSA teams are bad, I think people underestimate the quality of the other ECNL Clubs' RL teams. There are many impressive teams like PDA, FC Stars, SUSA etc. FSA's performance is a combination of both.Comment

Parents don't give a crap what happens at other clubs. They worry about their own kid's teams and that's about it. Most don't even think about the other teams at their club. There's a huge amount of club bashing committed by other clubs. It's a small state and there isn't a lot of talent. Its a battle for market share. Fine for the younger ages but by U14 or so the better players in the state are known. Some good players are in other leagues but aren't interested in ECNL because of cost and travel. FSA will struggle until they show some improvementOriginally posted by Guest View PostComment

They do this now, it is called a tryout (and you can always call coach and ask to workout with a team). The problem is, is that many clubs at HS ages are not willing to cap roster sizes at reasonable levels (16-18) and displace players at the bottom of rosters to make room for newer, better players.Originally posted by Guest View PostComment
