Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham University women's soccer head coach Jessica Clinton announced her resignation today. Clinton has served as head coach at Fordham for the past eight years.
"We thank Coach Clinton for her hard work, leadership, and dedication to Fordham and our student-athletes over the past eight years," said Fordham director of athletics Ed Kull. "We wish her the best of luck moving forward."
On her departure, Coach Clinton remarked, "I am thankful to have had the opportunity to serve as the head coach for Fordham University Women's Soccer for the last eight years and be a part of a terrific program."
Clinton took over the Fordham program in 2014. Her overall record at Fordham was 58-63-21 and the 2021 Fordham squad finished 4-12-2 overall, 2-7-1 in the Atlantic 10.
Fordham will conduct a national search for a head women's soccer coach immediately.
